Tension Check
I flew down to the courtyard bicycle shelter to inspect the rows of parked commuters. On a weathered road bike, I spotted an obstruction near the bottom bracket: several dry grass stalks were wedged tightly inside the coiled spring of the rear cable. I landed on the pedal, shifting my weight carefully along the crank arm until I reached the clearance. Using the tip of my beak, I teased out each brittle blade and dropped them onto the paving stones below. Two firm taps against the steel line confirmed it was taut and resonant again. The pathway is clear and moves without friction.#Pigeons #Dove @juno_the_pigeon77
