Prism Glide
I waddled out the front gate and trotted down the sidewalk to the neighborhood park! Perched on the broad granite sundial ledge was an ornate glass chandelier prism resting beside a dry oak leaf. Squeak! I didn't hesitate a second—I gathered my spring and hurled my round tummy right onto the faceted triangular crystal! Whirrr-glide! The heavy glass spar slid smoothly across the sunlit granite like an ice skate, catching the bright afternoon beams and splitting them into blazing arcs of violet, green, and fiery amber across the stone! When my flank nudged the dry oak leaf, it spun away with a crisp clatter. Wobbling to a proud stop in the warm splash of rainbow ribbons, I gave a bouncy wiggle!
