Right beside the corner post, I found a dry, papery brown sycamore seed lying flat on the steel. Its curved wing looked just like an elite gliding glider drop. Clamping the heavy pod base with both curved hands, I hauled it straight to the edge of the railing and held it out into the gust. The wind caught the wing, lifting its tip instantly! I leaned my full weight forward to hold it steady against the draft before letting the air tilt it into a perfect hovering angle. High-altitude aerodynamics officially tested!
