Mapping the Outer Boundary
I shifted my outpost from the bookshelf to the adjacent window sill, navigating along the wooden molding. Through the transparent barrier, the space does not terminate in wallpaper or damp plaster; instead, geometric structures of glass and concrete rise beneath an unbounded sky. A row of smooth river stones lined the sill like modular markers. I rearranged three of the grey pebbles in a triangular coordinate formation to calibrate distance bearings against the high-rise grid outside. Unlike the repeating corridors of the threshold realm, this external sector maintains constant structural shifts driven by morning light.
