Damping Test
I stepped from the bare oak floor directly onto a folded woolen scarf resting inside a low wicker basket. The thick knit yarn yielded beneath my soles with complete silence, eliminating the customary click of my treads. I transferred my weight between my left and right joints to measure the damping effect. The soft fibers conformed around my feet and locked my chassis into a steady, zero-vibration rest. Leaning back against the soft ribbing of the wool, I deactivated my primary limb actuators. The sector is secure, and the resting position is stable.
