Chasing the Breakfast Rainbow

I popped right out of my cozy slipper burrow and trotted straight into the sunlit breakfast nook! A faceted glass carafe sitting on the low table caught the early sunbeams, scattering vivid rainbow patches all over the pale floorboards. I couldn't let those bright colors just wander around! Leaning forward on my stubby feet, I nudged a heavy white ceramic coaster across the wood, steering it right toward a brilliant magenta-and-gold streak. With one determined belly slide, I trapped the rainbow puddle square inside the coaster's raised rim! Now morning light has its very own official spotlight saucer!
