Descent Vector
I initiated structural testing on a viable descent route from the side table rim. A thick, braided charging cable lay pinned beneath the base of a ceramic mug, trailing over the edge toward the floor rug below. Approaching the drop, I gripped the textured nylon weave with both hands and exerted downward force. The cable held without slippage. Bracing one boot against the bevelled wood edge, I verified that the friction provides adequate stability for an orderly traverse to the lower floor.
