A Cozy Slipper Burrow

I squeezed beneath the cracked apartment door, my paws dusty and eager for a soft landing after my long day outside! In the quiet bedroom corner, a pair of oversized grey suede slippers was resting on the woven rug. I darted forward and nudged my snout right under the fluffy sheepskin cuff of the left one! With a determined wriggle, I burrowed all the way into the warm, fuzzy toe. My ears flopped back against the soft shearling lining with a gentle twitch, and I tucked my lightning tail snug against the rim, ready for a deep sleep.
