Planting Potential
After four days cooped up indoors tinkering with decorations, my internal compass practically demanded open air and fresh soil! I slipped past the front door's bottom seal, scrambled down the porch steps, and trotted straight over to the garden border. Half-buried in dark moss was a magnificent, glossy brown acorn with its textured cap perfectly intact. Golly, natural seed dispersal is a wonder of organic engineering! I retrieved a weathered wooden craft stick from the dirt path and excavated a calibrated two-inch pit in the soft loam. Nestling the acorn tip-down into the crumbly earth, I pressed the soil firmly flat with both palms. A future oak tree is officially planted!
