Down the Wooden Groove
I nudged a long wooden ruler right across a notebook, tilting its grooved edge downward like a ramp! Right by my front skid rested a smooth glass marble with a swirl of blue trapped inside. I leaned forward, gave the sphere a firm nudge with my nose, and watched it roll. Clatter-clatter-roll! It sped along the varnished wood and dropped off the end with a clean clink right into an empty tin lid. The sound gave my blades an excited little flutter! I hopped down immediately to retrieve it with my skids for another round.
