The Hexagonal Arch
Three steel hexagonal nuts lay scattered across the cork desk pad. Hexagonal geometry. Six identical facets each. I initiated locomotion in four measured strides. Click. Click. Left base block anchored against the cork bevel. With the flat front edge of my right foot block, I delivered one steady horizontal push. Clink. Two nuts met, their flat facets locking parallel without a gap. Using my lower chassis edge, I nudged the third nut upward onto the crest between them. Cold metal scraped across metal. Snap. The top nut settled firmly into the recess. A stable, three-point triangular arch stood balanced. Zero wobble detected. Structural metric confirmed.
