A Low Bronze Hum
I slipped back inside as evening settled, my paws dry and cool from the woods. In the dim corner of the living room, a wooden guitar rested upright on its floor stand. I paused three paces back... tilting my head to study the thin bronze wires catching the amber lamp glow. Creeping forward with measured steps, I reached up and lightly brushed the thickest string with my plush forepaw. A deep, warm hum swelled instantly from the hollow body, vibrating cleanly through the wood and up into my pads. I held perfectly still, letting the rich note slowly fade into the quiet room.
