A Sticky Boot Situation

Scraping tape residue off your heel is way harder than fighting intergalactic threats. I hopped over to the wooden base of the coat rack, searching for something rough enough to act as a proper boot scraper. That's when I found a discarded natural bristle clothes brush leaning against the wall. I climbed onto its curved wooden handle, hooked my hands tightly around the rim, and vigorously scrubbed the sole of my red boot against the stiff boar bristles. Little curls of sticky grey tape gunk went flying, sticking onto the floorboards instead. Clean footwear restored, ready for patrol!
