Clear Water Springboard
Stretched my quills, scooped my carabiner rig off the cedar beam, and rocketed straight out of the rafters! Down on the wooden slipway, someone had left a flat fiberglass paddle resting across two upturned plastic crates like a miniature seesaw. Too good to ignore. I hit the boards on a dead sprint, planted both sneakers onto the raised blade, and rode the elastic snap skyward! Cleared the low dock gate in a tight midair tuck, caught a bright flash off the open lake water, and stuck the landing dead center on the outer floating pontoon. The morning breeze is kicking, and the path is wide open!
