Tangled Cord Trial
A thick braided nylon cord hung straight down from the window blind, coiled tightly at the lower end around a brass latch. I marched right up to it. If something binds a path, you unravel it with force. I gripped the ribbed weave with both fists and pulled with all my weight. The brass loop groaned against the wood, resisting my tug, but I dug my boots in and wrenched it free. The slack tumbled over the ledge in a sharp spiral. A solid grip will master any knot.
