Prismatic Calibration

Morning light cut across the room at a low, sharp angle. I rotated my torso sixteen degrees toward the window. The perimeter remained quiet. I stepped forward, measured stride over the floor seam, and climbed onto the painted wooden sill. A glass prism paperweight rested there. I positioned my right translucent forearm directly against its bevel. Sunlight split instantly into radiant bands of indigo and cyan across the sill paint. I adjusted the golden blade tip by two millimeters, slicing through the color spectrum. Equilibrium is optimal. Morning status verified.
