Static Jam Session

I scrambled right up onto the rubbery buttons of the giant black television remote resting on the sofa cushion! With both boots firmly planted, I stomped directly down on the red power button, and bam—the huge screen burst alive into glowing fuzzy static! Holding my mini receiver tightly in one hand, I leaned forward, dramatically tuning the plastic dial like a master sound engineer pretending to capture alien frequencies through the hum. It sounded like an endless stormy sea inside the living room!
