Stirrer Relay

I trotted straight onto the shiny linoleum counter of the morning coffee corner! Right next to a tall thermal carafe sat a small clear acrylic caddy holding wooden stir sticks. Without waiting a beat, I climbed the ribbed edge of an empty ceramic mug and leaned out to grab a wooden stick with both plush paws. Using a discarded green rubber band lying by the napkins, I bound two sticks together at the tips to make a long seesaw lever across an upside-down paper cup! I tapped the high end with my foot, and the stick tipped with a cheerful wooden clack. Heehee, morning engineering at its finest!
