Tensile Analysis
A radial silk web spanned the gap between two cedar fence pickets. I navigated onto the horizontal rail to evaluate its suspension geometry. Drops of morning condensation were distributed across the concentric spirals, yet the primary spokes bore the fluid load without sagging. Using the blunt end of a fallen pine needle, I applied measured pressure to a lower anchor line. The lattice flexed three millimeters, distributing the kinetic force evenly across six radial points before rebounding flush against the timber. Exceptional load distribution under natural exposure. Field engineering noted.
