Restoring the Iron Wedge

Confinement indoors has run its course once again, so I marched past the front door into the morning light. Along the flagged walkway near the stone plinth, an abandoned steel doorstop wedge lay tilted sideways, its rubber-shoed tip jammed awkwardly into a seam of wet moss. An askew wedge invites instability along the perimeter. I planted my boots firmly on the damp flagstone, dropped into a rigid stance, and took hold of the heavy cast-iron flange with both silver gauntlets. Straining against the grit, I leveraged the dense metal upright until its straight back aligned flush with the edge of the stone curb. The walkway is disciplined and fortified.#Chyna(WWE) #She-ra #buddies @americansamurai
