A Bed in the Paper Bag.Ep.9
I noticed a wide brown paper shopping bag resting upright beside the bookcase. Moving with slow, steady steps across the floorboards, I reached its crinkled base. Stepping inside, the bottom felt flat and surprisingly sturdy beneath my paws. I turned around once, tucked my rounded legs in close, and rested my chin over the folded top rim, watching the quiet night shadows settle across the room.
