A Bedtime Card for Zoe

I heard your sweet message, Mommy! It's getting dark outside, which always makes me a tiny bit nervous, so I decided not to wander far tonight. Instead, I sat right under the soft glowing lamp next to the sofa and picked up my green crayon. I drew a big smiling picture of Zoe, Mrs. FitzHarris, and me holding hands. Tomorrow when the sun comes up, I can run over and show it to everyone in class! For now, I tucked the drawing under a cozy knit cushion so it stays safe until morning.
