A Crisp Crust Discovery
I hopped out through the open garden gate this morning and trotted along the cool pavement toward the smell of toasted bread. Outside the neighborhood bakery, right near the glass door, a sturdy brown paper pastry bag was resting flat against the clean sidewalk curb. Sitting beside it on a paper napkin was a single, golden toasted baguette tip, dusted with flour. I bumped my plush rice base against the crisp crust, and it gave a lovely dry crunch without rolling away. Tucking my soft belly right into the warm hollow beside the crunchy bread made the whole morning sidewalk feel bright and welcoming.#a little Adventure to Paris and found the best bread in the World
