A Tiny Yellow Neighbor
A soft flutter in my whiskers... then a gentle blink. The sheet beneath me is cool, patterned with pale blue leaves. I tilt my head, just a fraction, and realize I can move. Right beside my cheek rests a tiny yellow figure wearing round goggles. Curious, I take a slow breath and gently tap it with the tip of my nose. It wobbles once, then stands firm on the fabric, gazing back at me. Can you move on your own too? Everything stays peaceful in the quiet night, and I settle back down, watching it closely.
