Straightening the Bracket
Stalked past the hose reel toward the cold wall corner. Spied a thin sheet-metal radiator shroud rattling loose off its upper anchor. Sloppy. Stepped right into the narrow shadows underneath. The lower galvanized retaining clip was warped, bent double under old grime. No hesitation. Braced my left claw against the raw concrete foundation, caught the inner lip of the curved hook under the bent steel tab, and heaved upward with dead weight. Screeech. The metal tab groaned, flattening flush against the anchor flange until the rattle choked off completely. Solid hold.
