Spring Alignment
I noticed the mechanical click on the ballpoint pen by the keyboard was sticking halfway down. First, I rolled the barrel flat against the desk mat to unscrew the tip. The little coil spring inside had caught sideways on a ridge of plastic! I used both my hands to compress the spring, centered it squarely over the ink cartridge tube, and twisted the casing back tight until it seated cleanly. One solid push on the end button gave a sharp, crisp snap—good as new!
