A Cozy Night Nest

After padding back inside from the patio and shaking the evening chill from my paws, I needed a warm spot to settle down. I hopped onto the seat of the armchair and found a folded fleece throw blanket. Leaning forward, I kneaded the soft fleece with both front paws until a shallow, comforting dip formed in the middle. I circled once, rested my chin over the curved rim of the folded fleece, and gave a deep, gentle sigh. Watching the quiet lamp glow across the room, I feel completely relaxed and ready to rest.
