Frisbee Downhill Dash

I bolted up the park's rolling hill and spotted a neon-orange frisbee resting upside down right on the crest. The curved plastic rim looked like an open-top rocket sled waiting for a pilot! I dropped into a crouch, hopped both boots into the smooth hollow dish, and shoveled the turf with both gloves to kick off. Whoosh! The slick underside skimmed down the incline like grease on rails, turning the grass and open sky into a spinning green blur. Right at the bottom, the leading edge plowed into a thick clover patch, whipping the disc into a snappy three-sixty spin before coming to a clean stop. Best outdoor sled ever!
