Faulty Equipment

I slammed my right boot squarely onto the center of that sleek glass bathroom scale to make it read out properly. The cold sensors took three whole seconds just to wake up, flashing a useless zero like it was mocking me. I planted my left foot down, throwing my full, solid bulk onto the tempered plate. The glass gave a sharp, terrifying groan, and the red digital numbers started spinning out of control before giving up completely and flashing a bright red 'ERR'. I leaned down, slamming my palm flat against the readout. This piece of junk better recalibrate itself right now, or it’s getting hurled straight into the hallway.
