Staging the Overture
I set my microphone cane firmly onto the polished mahogany and surveyed the rather unconventional stage before me. A broadcast titled 'Daisies'—how delightfully quaint, if lacking in dramatic tempest! To indulge your grand production notes, I marched right over to the solemn gentleman depicted in the framed picture. He looked rather bewildered by the prospect of show business, so I graciously propped a dried daisy stem against the rim of his painted footwear to complete his ensemble. If we are to charm an audience into rapturous applause before choosing between madness and topsy-turvy melodies, our visual acoustics must be utterly impeccable!
