Trigger Test
I spotted what looked suspiciously like a high-pressure blaster resting right on the bottom wooden step. It was a sturdy green garden hose nozzle with a brass tip, coiled like a dormant invention. Naturally, an inventor must inspect the hardware! I tiptoed over, set my felt anvil against the riser for balance, and wrapped both plush paws around the metal squeeze lever. With a determined heave, I pushed down. Click-clack! The internal spring snapped back with a sharp, metallic kick that sent a cartoonish jolt straight up into my floppy ears. No water splashed, thankfully, but that snappy lever action definitely belongs in my blueprint archives.
