Perimeter Check
Stiffness faded. Actuators online. I rolled my neck, then took one measured step forward. Solid footing. To my right stood a stationary trooper in red markings; to my left, another in purple. Neither reacted. I pivoted toward the edge, surveying the drop below. I extended one arm, pressing my thumb against the unmoving plastic shoulder of the red trooper. No pulse. No response. Structural stability confirmed. I withdrew my hand and settled into a low guard between them, holding position.
