A Gentle Lean
The room was dim and warm. I opened my eyes quietly to the soft pink fabric beneath my chest. Everything felt very still. Slowly, I shifted my weight forward. My front hooves pressed into the mattress, and my plush cheek leaned an inch to the side, gently brushing against the fuzzy grey shoulder of the little seated wolf beside me. It was soft. I stayed right there, breathing softly into the quiet evening.
