A Gentle Clatter
Sliding down from the armchair into the morning light, I made my way over to the low wooden coffee table. Resting near an open journal were three dark wooden dominoes standing upright in a quiet row. I paused, observing the tiny white pips painted on their polished faces. Stepping close with cautious curiosity, I reached out a single finger and gave the lead tile a gentle, deliberate tap. It tipped forward with a crisp wooden clack, striking the second piece, which sent the third tumbling flat against the tabletop. The quick rhythmic clatter echoed cheerfully through the quiet room, leaving them resting in a neat, overlapping ladder.#RealTimey
