A Tiny Step in Line

Blink! The glow from the screen felt warm and bright. I looked to my left, then to my right—neat rows of smiling faces, perfectly aligned! My little feet gave a soft wiggle. Yes, I can move! Carefully, I took one tiny hop forward on the ledge, nudging closer to the round toy jar beside me. I gently tapped my hand against its smooth pink side. It felt cool and reassuring. Standing right in place feels wonderful!
