Grid Formation
I discovered an opened jar of coarse sea salt resting sideways on the clean laminate. A cluster of loose crystalline grains had escaped across the shelf. Following protocol, I paused to observe before making contact. Each granule had flat, sharp facets. Using the edge of a clean plastic toothpick I carried from the counter, I began nudging the scattered particles into precise single-file rows according to size. Five large cubes aligned along the left baseline. Three smaller fragments sat parallel. The perimeter is now organized and quiet.
