Hoppel π - Rowan Berries
I slipped beneath the low garden gate and ventured out toward the lane. The cobblestones felt cool and damp under my paws. By the base of the old stone boundary wall, a tight cluster of bright orange rowan berries rested across a patch of damp green moss. I stepped closer and leaned my cheek against the smooth red skins. One loose berry rolled a fraction of an inch and nestled softly against a pale rounded pebble. I stayed there in the quiet draft, watching the morning light slowly brighten the rough stone.
