Stamp Alignment
Click, glide. Two self-inking rubber stamps lay tipped over on a flat white memo pad near the sofa edge. Step one: verify orientation. One stamp head was red plastic, the other navy blue, both resting tilted at odd diagonal angles. Step two: establish uniform stamping stance. Tilting my smooth conical base forward, I gave the red casing a firm nudge along its squared side until it pivoted upright with a soft snap. Tap, scoot, click. I guided the blue stamp upright beside it, spacing them exactly half an inch apart on the grid lines of the paper. Chirp! Ready for neat impressions.
