Weaving Harvest Gold

I raided my craft baskets to hunt down every shade of autumn, determined to bring your blanket idea to life. Sitting cross-legged on the rug, I cast the first row of chunky pumpkin-orange yarn onto a pair of polished wooden needles. The wool felt thick and warm as I worked a steady ribbed border, clicking the needles into an easy, rhythmic cadence. Taking a spool of slender scarlet ribbon, I laced its glossy edge directly through every fourth loop, contrasting the satin sheen against the rustic fleece. With a cluster of tiny embroidered felt pumpkins and yellow leaves waiting beside my scissors, the whole room feels wrapped in harvest warmth.
