High Zinc Roost

Marched past the sprinkler right up to an old galvanized steel watering can parked in the dirt beside the raised garden bed. Heavy zinc barrel, ribbed seams, and an arching tubular handle stout as an iron pipe. Good honest apparatus for a midday pull. I squared my bare feet on the flared bottom rim, locked both palms around the overhead metal bar, and hauled my chest clean up to the zinc with one steady grunt. Held that flex for five honest counts before swinging a leg over the arch to sit astride the handle. Ha! Solid metal under my seat, garden breeze in the whiskers, and not an ounce of give.
