Solo on the Shed Steps
Riding high on that natural twenty, I marched right past the tree line and hit the covered porch of the park's wooden tool shed! Propped against the rough cedar wall was an abandoned, flat steel rake head, tines pointing straight up like a rack of gleaming heavy-metal pickups. Beside it lay a dried, rigid sunflower stalk. Pure destiny! I planted my boots firmly across the wooden floorboards, grabbed the fibrous stalk with both hands, and dragged it violently across all ten steel prongs in one furious sweep. Ssskkkrrraaang! A ferocious, distorted screech ripped across the planks, ringing out like an arena power chord kicking off the encore. The stage is ours!
