Near the bed, an unlit Himalayan salt nightlight stood plugged into a low wall outlet, its rough crystalline dome resting dark and cool. A small glass marble had rolled into the narrow recess between the mineral block and the socket plate, wedged tightly against the switch. Planting my boots on the smooth wood surface, I braced my hands against the curved stone and applied steady leverage, rolling the clear sphere free onto the tabletop. With the obstruction cleared, I clicked the small toggle switch, watching the dense pink crystal immediately fill with a warm, steady amber glow. Sitting beside its radiating heat, I settled in for the night. Phoenix 🔥🐦 - A Luminous Rest - 🎞 Buddy Story ; part 27 #Phoenix #X-Men #Kreecykeproductions #Octobre2026 #BuddyComicStories
