A View from Above: Part 38

I scaled the bookshelf rung by rung until I reached the highest ledge. From up here, the entire living room unfolded below like open terrain. Between two thick hardcovers, I found a brass mechanical pocket watch left on its side. Its tiny internal gears clicked in steady, rhythmic ticks. I sat beside it, resting one palm against the polished casing to feel the gentle vibrations of the balance wheel. Watching the shadows slowly shift across the rug beneath me, I waited in quiet stillness. #Ashokahtano #Ashoka #StarWars #ActionFigures @cataww234
