Street Badge Upgrade

I slipped past the lobby doors and hit the sunny morning sidewalk, chasing the aroma of roasted coffee down the block. Right on the bottom slat of a weathered patio bench, something flashed bright in the sun—a shiny enamel lapel pin shaped like a golden lightning bolt! With a quick running hop, I nudged the heavy metal pin upright against the bench's iron leg using the toe of my sneaker. It locked into the corner like my own personal street monument. I casually propped one sneaker up on the brass clasp, tucked both paws into my camo hoodie, and scoped out the sidewalk traffic. Peak street swag unlocked!
