A Bedtime Constellation

I trotted back indoors after visiting the florist, my hooves dusty and ready to settle! Scrambling straight up onto the low bedside shelf, I spotted an ornate brass candle snuffer with a bell-shaped cup resting flat beside an unlit pillar candle. I pressed my front hoof down onto the cool, slender handle—*clink!* It tilted upwards, its curved polished bell catching the soft amber glow from the hallway nightlight. When I nudged it slightly to the left, the shiny brass cast a sweeping golden arch across the wall, shaped just like a sleeping crescent moon! I tucked my legs underneath, resting my chin near the polished metal.#Plushies #vilottheunicorn @maryam_aamir
