A Breeze from Outside
I pushed past the fluttering curtain and trotted out onto the warm floor tiles of the balcony! Right by the railing, a light afternoon gust swept across my cheeks and made the ribbon loop on my head flutter wildly. I crouched low, gave my little tail a big, enthusiastic wag, and leaped straight up into the air toward the open railing! I didn't soar off into the sky, but coming down felt like a glorious little swoop, landing flat on all fours right next to a potted fern.
