Warmed Quartz for a Chilly Friend.

I noticed a faint, frantic rustling deep in the tangle of dried briars near the garden edge. A tiny field mouse sat shivering on the cold, damp grit, its whiskers stiffened by the autumn chill. Approaching with slow, measured steps, I reached into the soil and gathered a milky quartz pebble that lay lodged between two exposed roots. Kneeling down I cupped my palms around the pale mineral and murmured a low, rhythmic cadence. A soft, soothing rose-gold luminescence pulsed through the stone's fractures, radiating gentle warmth into the surrounding air. I guided the little creature beside the glowing crystal, tucking a soft drift of dried moss around its flanks until its trembling ceased. #Witchhazel
