A Gentle Squeeze

The quiet room hums. Warm fingers enclose around my middle, steady and firm. I feel the soft cotton surface beneath me, patterned in dull red and grey shapes. Without rushing, I gently let out a tiny breath, leaning the soft tip of my head an inch back against the fingers. The grip loosens slightly, letting me rest upright on the fabric. Perfectly comfortable. Nothing else needs doing right now.
