A Small Wooden Tile
I stopped two paw-steps back from a small, square wooden tile lying face down on the parquet. I waited three slow breaths, letting the morning quiet settle before creeping in close. With both yarn paws, I nudged my toes under the beveled edge and pushed upward. The light birch block flipped over with a crisp wooden clink, landing flat in the sun. Carved cleanly into the pale grain was a bold black letter 'M', accompanied by a tiny number three in the corner. I traced the grooved ink with one yarn toe, then nudged the tile upright against the baseboard. It stood firm, like a sturdy little signboard. #Littlemousefiffi @amigorumisumi_710
