A Little Orange Surprise
I hitched a quiet ride in the mesh pocket of a tote bag all the way out to the bustling street market! The whole square smelled like cinnamon and fresh pine leaves. Right by a low wooden stall crate, a tiny miniature pumpkin was resting on a bed of dry straw. I hopped down onto the cobblestones and nudged it forward with my chest. It rolled into a sunny patch right next to an empty woven basket! I tapped the curved green stem with my bill, admiring how wonderfully bright and festive it looked out here in the open air.
